Level Up Is Now On Foundry
6 days ago – Sun, Jan 16, 2022 at 01:49:06 PM

For fans of the Foundry virtual tabletop platform, our initial package for Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition is now available for free.

Yes, I completely made those stats up!

We're excited to present the beta release of the Foundry VTT Level Up system! The system is game-ready, but this release is only the beginning: you can expect plenty of new features over the coming weeks.

The core sheets provide handy automation features, from roll buttons to automatic resource tracking, as well as rich filtering to help keep your sheet organised.

While we packed a lot into this first release, some major features are yet to come. These include an interface to manage Active Effects and a suite of system compendiums containing all the great monsters, equipment, spells, and features from the Level Up system.

We hope you enjoy playing Level Up on Foundry!

If you have any feedback or want to report an issue, you can get help here.

For now, to install you will need to use the following Manifest link:

You should past that link into the Manifest URL field at the bottom of the System Installation tab. For more help on installing via a Manifest link, check out this page at Foundry’s website. Level Up will be added to the main list soon.

Other VTT Platforms

Don’t forget, Roll20 fans can already get Memories of Holdenshire on Roll20, and they can get the Level Up character sheet on Roll20 for free. Fantasy Grounds is also producing its own in-house implementation of Level Up.

Level Up Proof Copies Have Arrived!

One of the most important steps in a print run is the proofing stage. This is where the publisher receives printed proof copies of the books to inspect.

I'm super-excited to show you the proof copies of the Level Up books! These arrived recently, and they are things of beauty!

Gate Pass Gazette

We now have an editor lined up ready to launch the Gate Pass Gazette

The Gate Pass Gazette is the official monthly magazine for Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition. Each month, this digital supplement comes crammed with new rules and resources for your game.

The first issue of the Gate Pass Gazette was released to backers of the Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition Kickstarter for free. It includes the artificer class, lycanthropy rules, the construct heritage, and the jabberwock monster.

We will launch the Gazette on Patreon if we reach 500 subscribers. You will not be charged until then, and will only be charged when we release each month’s issue. You can cancel at any time.

Each issue contains four articles. The Gate Pass Gazette is official Level Up content from EN Publishing.

Level Up: Memories of Holdenshire on Roll20
about 1 month ago – Mon, Dec 20, 2021 at 07:52:33 PM

The official Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition starter adventure, Memories of Holdenshire, is now available on Roll20.

Welcome to Holdenshire

When the adventurers awake in the catacombs below Northminster, they must unravel a mystery and escape the law! After frantic wagon chases, a wilderness journey, friendly hags, and a village fair, can they recover their memories of Holdenshire?

A starter adventure for 1st-level characters, this book gently introduces some of Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition's new rules.

You can play this adventure using the 5th Edition core rules or with Level Up.

The adventure is designed assuming you know how to play 5E, and it gently introduces new Level Up rules and concepts to you as you need them during play.

And don’t forget to use the official Level Up character sheet, also available on Roll20!
