Latest Updates from Our Project:

Virtual Tabletop Updates!
over 2 years ago – Fri, Dec 17, 2021 at 01:54:38 AM

Work is continuing apace on our Virtual Tabletop (VTT) implementations of Level Up. This is a quick update on progress. If VTTs aren't your thing, you can safely skip this update.

As you know, we decided to proceed with Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, and Foundry at this stage. All three are underway.

Roll20

The Roll20 character sheet has been live for a while now, and it a work-in-progress which is constantly being updated. You can follow that progress on this thread on the forums. Our Roll20 work is being done by Paul Venner.

Additionally, the Roll20 version of Memories of Holdenshire is looking great. Here's a peek at some screenhots!

Foundry

Our Foundry implementation is well under way. While I'm not personally that familiar with Foundry, I have to say it is looking pretty! Our Foundry work is being done by Phil Best.

Fantasy Grounds

Fantasy Grounds is handling their Level Up implementation in-house (under license from us). I haven't seen any previews yet, but I'm excited to see what they come up with!

Adventures in ZEITGEIST ToC; and a 3rd-Party Adventure!
over 2 years ago – Fri, Dec 17, 2021 at 01:43:01 AM

Hey folks! Just a quick update for you.

  • First, you can check out the full Table of Contents for Adventures in ZEITGEIST over on the official website.
  • And what I think is the first third party product designed for Level Up is out! This 20-page adventure by Anthony Alipio is called The Sugar Crumb Fairy. This adventure isn't published by EN Publishing (I just bought it myself and can't wait to take a look!) but it's exciting to see folks making new stuff for Level Up!

The Sugar Crumb Fairy

A pixie-pranked page of parchment creates a perilous portal in this fairytale adventure.

Over the last several weeks, inhabitants of Everton village have been going missing, only to return shortly after, confused and unable to account for their absence. It seemed like just a minor unsolved mystery until Granny Scarlett, the town’s beloved baker, disappeared...and never came back.

As the mystery unfolds, a magical door to the Plane of Faerie opens, and the return trip home may end up being very costly indeed...

The Sugar Crumb Fairy is a 4-6 hour one-shot adventure designed for 3-4 players of 3rd or 4th level.

  • Powered by Level Up! (www.levelup5e.com)
  • 5e compatible
  • Combat, Social, and Exploration Challenges
  • Missing persons mystery
  • One-way or roundtrip travel to the Plane of Faerie

The 20-page count includes the cover, the one-shot adventure with inline statblocks (13 pages), magic items (2 pages), player handouts (3 pages), and the OGL license.

Pledge Manager Locking Orders
over 2 years ago – Tue, Dec 14, 2021 at 07:24:10 PM

Hi folks! Just a note to let you know we are locking orders on the pledge manager tomorrow. After that you’ll still be able to amend your shipping address but you wont be able to add items to your pledge. If you haven’t yet be sure to fill out your survey at https://levelup5e.backerkit.com

We’re Hiring

If you’re UK-based and are intertested in or know somebody who might be interested in a remote working part-time job (10-20 hours per week at £18/hr), EN Publishing is looking for a new Publishing Administrator.

Digital Books Updated!
over 2 years ago – Tue, Dec 14, 2021 at 07:15:53 PM

Over the last couple of weeks you have all been providing us with welcome bug reports, which we have applied to the PDFs of the books. You can now download all the books again from the same links you used to download them originally (probably DriveThruRPG unless you requested an alternative)*.

Thank you all so much for your help with the bug reports. There's nothing like 5,000 people reading your book to find the typos!

The books will be going to the printer this coming week. Then it's a wait while they produce them and finally ship them to our warehouse.

*check your Kickstarter message inbox for those links

Gate Pass Gazette

We now have 284 of the 500 subscribers we need to launch the Gate Pass Gazette. In the meantime we've been working on the (free) Issue 1 -- we have the Artificer and the Construct already nearly finished! There's a preview below (which might change before print).

Backerkit/Pledge Manager

We will be locking orders on the pledge manager at the end of the coming week. Please make sure you have made any adjustments you need to make, because once they're locked, there's no way to change it.

About 80% of backers have filled out their shipping surveys via the pledge manager. That leaves 20% of people we can't send books to, as we don't know where to send them! Please fill out that shipping survey ASAP!

Can't find the survey? Head to https://levelup5e.backerkit.com.

Thanks everybody!

Artificer Playtest Survey
over 2 years ago – Tue, Dec 14, 2021 at 05:59:18 PM

Hey folks! We hoped you enjoyed the look at the artificer from a few days ago. Now it's time to tell us what you think!

Please hop on over to this playtest survey and give us your feedback. It should take a few minutes at most.

Reviews

If you have downloaded Level Up from DriveThruRPG, we could really use some reviews! Please do take a moment to head over there and leave a comment or review on the PDFs you've gotten. Reviews make a big difference to a game, even if they're short!

Thank you!
